FAQs

Who will carry out your project?

Kevin will manage and carry out your project, with Elizabeth supporting the process from start to finish.

Based in Edinburgh, we keep everything in-house so you can expect:

  • A personal service

  • Clear communication

  • Consistent quality from enquiry to completion

If you’d like a feel for what it’s like working with us, you’re very welcome to have a look at our Google reviews.

Our wardrobe exterior materials are sourced within the UK from leading manufacturers of bedroom doors and components, with quality control checks throughout production to ensure a consistently high standard of finish.

This includes:

  • A 6-year manufacturer guarantee on doors and components

  • Selected door ranges independently tested and awarded FIRA Gold (Level H), the highest mark of product excellence within the furniture industry

  • Trusted branded hardware, including Blum soft-close undermounted drawer runners and Hettich soft-close concealed hinges

We build our interiors using 18mm furniture-grade melamine-faced board for strength and long-term durability, finished with 2mm ABS edging to protect edges from knocks and everyday wear.

At a viewing, we can bring:

  • A colour swatch folder (to compare finishes in your own lighting)

  • A selection of sample doors (so you can see the quality and finish in person)

  • A handle brochure (to help you choose the right style)

If you’d like, we can also arrange separately:

  • A made-to-measure 570 × 400mm sample door in your preferred style and colour

  • A sample handle so you can feel the finish and see how it looks in your space

If we don’t already have the exact sample available, we can order it in at an additional cost — we’ll confirm pricing in advance

Yes — we offer CAD drawings to help you visualise the design before anything is built. This is a paid service to cover the design time, and the cost is deducted from your final invoice if you proceed.

We’re currently working on a 3–4 week lead time from the point your order is confirmed and the deposit is received. Lead times can vary depending on workload, and we’ll always confirm the most accurate timeframe before you proceed.

We’re based in Edinburgh and regularly cover Edinburgh and the Lothians. We’re also happy to discuss projects a little further afield.

Let us know where you’re based and we’ll see if we can help.

To secure your installation date and confirm your made-to-order project, we take a 50% deposit (invoiced electronically and payable by bank transfer). A further 40% is due the day before fitting, with the remaining 10% due on completion.

Payment stages will be clearly confirmed in writing before you proceed.

  • Full extension for easy access

  • Smooth, synchronised movement

  • Integrated BLUMOTION for soft, silent closing

They’re built for long-term durability and a clean, seamless look — ideal for high-end fitted furniture.

We use Blum 110° CLIP top BLUMOTION soft-close concealed hinges as standard. They offer:

  • Smooth soft-close action built into the hinge

  • Precise, reliable performance

  • A wide 110° opening angle for easy access

Where greater access is needed, we can also use Blum 155° soft-close concealed hinges.

Yes — we offer a supply-only service for our made-to-measure wardrobes. This can include:

Send us the details of what you’re looking for and we’ll advise on specifications, options and lead times.

Yes — hinged mirrored doors are available using our framed door options. They’re a great way to add light and depth while keeping a refined, furniture-style look that works well in both modern and traditional spaces.

We offer three open-frame styles designed to hold a mirror panel:

  • Top open frame

  • Top and bottom open frame (with midrail)

  • Full open frame

We can also pair framed doors with a variety of glass and mirror options to control light, add depth, or create a softer decorative look.

How do I clean and care for my wardrobes?
To clean our Bella range doors and furniture panel interiors, we recommend:

  • Wiping with warm water and a mild, non-abrasive washing-up detergent (around a 1% solution)

  • Using a soft cloth, then drying with a clean, dry cloth

Please avoid:

  • Vinegar-based cleaners

  • Solvents or white spirit

  • Abrasive detergents

  • Scouring pads or polish

Gloss and matt aftercare kits are also available.

Sustainability
We aim to reduce waste through made-to-measure manufacturing and responsible sourcing. This includes:

  • Up to 40% recycled wood content in some of the furniture panels we use

  • Priority sourcing from certified forests with traceable supply chains

  • Disposing of site and workshop waste through licensed recycling centres wherever possible

This supports responsible forestry and helps reduce waste going to landfill.
