Hi, I’m Kevin , founder of Alcove Joinery – a.k.a “the boss” and all-round woodwork enthusiast.
Joinery has been a huge part of my life since I was 16, and I’ve been running my own business here in Edinburgh since my early twenties. Now in my 40s, I’m proud to have built a reputation for creating beautiful, practical storage solutions that stand the test of time (check out our reviews!)
I’m passionate about what I do and enjoy working closely with people to make their homes work better for them. These days, my main focus is on fitted wardrobes – designed around your space and style, then built and installed with care.

Hi, I’m Elizabeth – the real boss and woman behind the scenes at Alcove Joinery. I’ve been by Kevin’s side since our school days and now play a hands-on role in the day-to-day running of our family business.
I keep everything moving behind the scenes so Kevin can focus on what he does best: designing and building beautiful fitted wardrobes. Whether it’s answering emails, organising materials, or helping to plan the finer details of your project, I’m here to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Customer service is hugely important to us – we want the process to feel as seamless and personal as possible. It’s a real team effort, and I love being involved in every step of the journey with our customers.
